⚠️Total cholesterol

208 mg/dL

Just over the 200 cutoff. Total cholesterol is read together with LDL, HDL, and triglycerides — the AI walks through which fraction is driving the total.

🩸LDL cholesterol

152 mg/dL

Above the 100 cutoff. LDL is one of the most-discussed numbers in heart-health conversations — context like family history and other markers matters.

💚HDL cholesterol

58 mg/dL

Comfortably above the 40 lower bound. The "good" fraction usually trends up with regular activity and lower simple-carb intake.

💚Triglycerides

132 mg/dL

Inside the < 150 range. Triglycerides respond strongly to recent meals and alcohol, so a single fasting value is most informative.

FAQ

Questions we hear often

A lipid panel is a blood test that measures total cholesterol, LDL ("low-density"), HDL ("high-density"), and triglycerides. Together they describe how cholesterol is being transported in your body.

Total cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides, non-HDL cholesterol, and any ratios your lab prints. If your panel includes ApoB or Lp(a), the AI will read them too.

Any value outside the reference range is worth discussing with your clinician. LabTestly explains what each marker measures and whether your value sits inside the reference range, but cardiovascular risk depends on many factors — age, blood pressure, family history — that need to be assessed together.

Yes. Once you upload more than one report, your dashboard tracks each marker over time and highlights changes worth noticing.

No. LabTestly is an educational tool that explains what blood test values mean in plain language. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We always encourage you to discuss your results with your doctor — every interpretation includes that reminder.

We accept PDFs, JPEGs, PNGs, and WebP files up to 10 MB. This covers printed lab reports, scanned documents, photos taken on your phone, and screenshots from patient portals like MyChart or Quest Diagnostics. If your lab sends a PDF by email, you can upload that directly.

Our AI is trained on medical literature and uses established clinical reference ranges. Interpretations are carefully worded to be educational and accurate. That said, lab values can be affected by many factors — time of day, recent meals, medications — which is why we always encourage a conversation with your doctor for full context.

Privacy First: Your Data, Your Control

  • Files are Temporary: Within seconds of analysis, your original PDF is permanently purged from our servers.
  • Structured Privacy: We only retain the extracted data points (numbers, dates, and markers) to power your charts and chat history.
  • Total Security: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-leading protocols.
  • Our Zero-Sharing Promise: We never sell your data to insurers, never share it with advertisers, and never use it to train public AI models.

We cover most standard blood panels including Complete Blood Count (CBC), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Basic Metabolic Panel (BMP), Lipid Panel, Thyroid function (TSH, T3, T4), Vitamin D and B12, Iron studies, HbA1c, and more. If you upload a panel we don't recognize, we'll tell you.

Absolutely. Every interpretation can be downloaded as a PDF or shared via a secure, expiring link. Many of our users bring their LabTestly summary to appointments as a conversation starter. It's designed to complement — not replace — the doctor-patient relationship.

The free plan includes 1 lab report per month. For most people that is enough if they only test occasionally and just want to understand their results in plain language.

Premium is built for people who want to see the full picture of their health over time. You can upload unlimited lab reports, add older tests, and compare markers as they change.

With Premium you get:

  • Unlimited lab report uploads
  • A full history of all your tests
  • Comparison of markers over time
  • Health timeline — the overall picture of your tests and changes
  • Biomarker map — a visual map of markers across reports
  • PDF export for your doctor
  • A doctor-ready summary that is easy to share at the appointment
  • Priority report processing
  • The ability to upload older tests and see trends
  • More AI-chat questions per report
  • Easy tracking of markers worth keeping an eye on

And much more.
